Our clinic offers specialized services in medical diagnosis and monitoring, covering a wide range of needs, from PET and CT examinations for the precise assessment of metabolic and structural conditions, to ultrasound for the detailed investigation of internal organs and the vascular system.

PET-CT Examination In Oncological Diagnosis

FDG-PET is a nuclear medicine technique that provides three-dimensional information on the rate of glucose metabolism in the body and is a sensitive method for detecting, staging and monitoring response to treatment for many malignancies.

The PET/CT device provides both metabolic and anatomical information in a single examination. The information obtained by PET / CT has proven to be much more accurate in the evaluation of patients with known or suspected malignant diseases.

Indications for PET/CT examination include, but are not limited to, the following:
Evaluation of an abnormality detected by another imaging method, to determine the..

PET-CT Brain-Epilepsy Examination

In the brain, glucose metabolism provides approximately 95% of the ATP needed for brain function. In physiological conditions, as well as in other diseases that affect the brain, glucose metabolism is closely related to neuronal activity. Therefore, disease-induced changes in neuronal activity are reflected in a change in glucose metabolism.

[18F] FDG PET is currently the most accurate in-vivo method for investigating the regional metabolism of the human brain and is widely available in Europe, but in Romania our center is the only one that provides this type of investigation for patients with a diagnosis of EPILEPSY.

Its clinical use can be considered a key to a precise diagnosis, being able to bring real-time information on brain activity.

PET PSMA

In patients with prostate tumors, the diagnostic technique is performed by PET-CT using a new radiotracer. Our field of activity is never static, as a result we improve the quality of medical services by providing you with a new procedure involving oncological diagnosis.

PET / CT is one of the most modern medical imaging methods today. The radiotracer used in the assay is a radiolabeled molecule with a short half-life (18F) that can be used to determine tissue PSMA receptor density. PSMA receptors are located on the surface of cells in numerous healthy and pathological tissues. High numbers of receptors are very common in prostate tumors and according to expert guidelines, the receptor..

Examinarea CT

It uses X-rays to get an image of the inside of the human body. This is achieved by measuring their differential absorption in tissues with different densities. (tomodensitometry). CT X-ray imaging examination used to obtain images through multiple sections of the human body. The examination is not painful at all. The patient is lying on the examination table and during the examination (2-5 minutes) must remain as still as possible and follow breathing instructions.

CT is not contraindicated in patients with pacemakers

CT can also be used to guide biopsy maneuvers or drainage of some liquid collections or abscesses – interventional radiology

There are no indications for CT in pregnant women. It is mandatory to check the risk of pregnancy in women who require a CT examination (anamnesis, pregnancy test)
